must've been a large engine failure or something to do with the fuel tank or electrics. If it was just a cyclinder or two, that isnt likely to cause such a big fire

one if not my fav ferrari burning! i hope i dont see this again. and in the middle of the street? is it posisible 4 this to happen if u like over rev it for a long time?, or like pushing it alot? although i doubt he was

They probably wan't to unhook the battery. But you can't reach it from up there (I've tried once ). Cause it's positioned in the right front wheelarch. To reach the battery you have to turn the steering wheel so you can unscrew the cover of wheelarch.

Probably an electrical failure, quite common on early f355's. I had once a drive in an f355. After a few miles the electrical circuit stopped working. After a few other miles a cloud of smoke suddenly escaped out of the engine hood. The alternator caught a bit fire. Luckily the fire stopped immediately so no real harm was made to the car itself. But this also mend the end of mi drive in it.

355 is one from mine favourite, ferrari has some problems with electrical failure,
maybe that was problem
