When I saw Supes rescuing the plane i started tearing up. 20 years without Supes on the silver screen!

But I'm a bit dissapointed with Routh being given very few lines. I'm guessing he couldnt act and the director just purposely made him do iconic poses.

Spacey as Lex is a joy to watch. Fuckin nuts the fella is.

Anyone catch the 20 mins of extra footage during certain IMAX screenings? The IMAX theater near me played an extra 20 mins of deleted footage yesturday, and only yesturday..

I was referring to New Series, not a new character, who can replace Superman anyhow?

This was a great movie, it is a bit dark and your kid might cry, but I thought that it was really well done and sets up great for another Superman movie to follow. The actor did a fairly decent job of being Clark Kent

Anyone see the Imax 3D version. Is it worth the extra money for the 3D scenes or or should I just see it on the big screen at the normal theater?

Well I saw it twice now once with the guys opening night then again last night with the girlfriend on Imax and I have to say it is worth the cash to see it in 3D. I loved the movie. The scene at the beginning with the plane and space shuttle in 3D is intense watching the wing come flying at you as he flies through it.
