IRL it looks stunning. I thought at first that it was the new ford and thought it was a bit small compared to the pictures but then I saw the jagaur and knew that It was just perfect..except for the tailights which seems a bit too ricer-esque a carbon figer instead of crome-housing wouldve been perfect. When I compared it to the surroundings I thought it looked marvelous and immediately thought that Jaguar was heading in the right direction. I was also impressed with the high quality of the leather and the looks of the interior. Exactly how it was in the media pics. The brakes looked really beefy and unrealistically big and the fact that they were completely clean was even more distracting. The wheels/rims package looked like no other that I have seen and reminded me of the vanquish. The crew took out the driver's side window and were apparently having trouble putting it back as it took them a long time to do so...

yes i do not like the altezza clear lights but i am sure this will not translate to a production jaguar, too ricey IMO... great sighting! looks like u were the only enthusiast with his camera out in NYC that day!

Thx for posting those pics. A very very nice exclusive indeed.

The PR talk sound promising about the new XK, but that's why it's called PR talk isn't it The thing I'm worried about is that it will weigh just too much... Anyway, the looks are pretty cool!

nice pics btw!

About 2 years ago Jaguar was testing a car in Phoenix. It was decked out in the camo covers and everything. One night i caught up to them in a Hooters parking lot and started talking to the guys in the chase car. They said they were doing extreme conditions testing on the car and it was slated for the Russian market (Russia may be cold, but if a car can live through stop and go traffic in 120 degree heat, then it should have noo problem with the cold). They were driving an XK8 and said that it was the only car Jag had available that could keep up with it.

I'm wondering if that car ended up being the new XK the main body lines look really similar to the silohuette of the test car. So unless adam24k spots it running around, that could very well be what i saw in camo form.

Nice spotting xxleasxx
