Thanks Iwan for the loads of great sneak pics! Imo the interior idd has a look with too much cheapy plastic. It's a bit a shame.

Very nice car. They have done an awesome job all round on the replacement. I'd even buy one over the new 3er.

Looks nice overall, but they could have made a bigger effort with the under-bonnet aesthetics. Where are the chromed inlet runners and ribbed alloy plenum and rocker covers from the old V6? I hope it runs better than it looks, and sounds better too

The new Croma (with a sport package I suppose) doesn't look bad at all either. And Iwan, did you have a chance to ask Mr. Pagani about the upcoming Zonda successor?

More details:

"The 4 TPOXOI magazine in Greece (www.4troxoi.gr) which is the best and most comprehensive magazine this side of europe has on the April issue the following interview with Paolo Massai and these are his quotes taken at Geneva."

- 159 is another classic Alfa-Romeo only a lot improved.
- Comfort: whereas the 156 was a typical Alfa, the 159 is like a BMW, softer suspension, which absorbs more efficiently road irregularities.
- The suspension has longer travel distance but still there car doesn't tilt while cornering.
- The steering wheel is 2,3 turns lock to lock which is the faster in the market with 13 degrees steering wheels = 1 degree front wheels.
- 159 has the best yaw rate in the segment
- 159 does NOT have electric steering wheel, as these lack feel especially on low traction environments.
- on the limit 159 understeers less than the 156.
- Torsional rigidity of 180.000 daNm/deg
- ESP can be fully disabled
- Brera 4WD has 3 differentials biased at 42% front 58% rear

Can I get one, please?

The details provided by Nuno sounds very good. Especially less under steer and 42/58 power distribution in the 4WD version. I think they haven't changed the looks more because the 156 still is (one of) the best looking saloon and wagon on the market today. The 159 is a great looking car with personality and potential for great handling!
