Nurburgring Old Timer Grand Prix
Some really nice photos here -

Samples -
I remember catching a bit of it on the Nurburgring Webcam, cool to see some proper photos of the cars that attended.

That's the C111, correct? I thought that car was a one off (well they made about 3 different models didnt they?)
Some awesome sightings there!

That car's based off of the Merc concept, there were something around 30+ of them made.
Here's some background on it -
http://www.carpassion.com/en/forum/o...-cw-311-a.html
"In 1983 Eberhard Schulz [founder of Isdera] decided to produce some of these cars, because Mercedes did not want to produce it, like the C111. He changed some details and built 30 examples."

Hi,
I have taken the photos above. It was a great weekend at Nurburgring and I spent it together with the team who raced the two big block Galaxie 63's. One of them were driven by the former rally world champion Stig Blomqvist, today 60 years old but still a fantastic driver.
I'm a bit curious how you found the link to the pics? They have only been published for 2-3 days.
Cheers

Great pictures, Mats!
If I would have been there to see the AM Project 214 passing through Brünnchen, I don't know what would have happened... :shocked!:  :faint:
Of course I loved the GT40s and Maseratis as well!
