Default Volume on mp3-files..

When I put my mp3-collection onto my new mp3-player, I soon found the differences in volume between songs a little annoying..

This happens, I believe, when songs are ripped at different volume, or that the cd's have differences in the volume from before..

Is there a possibility to do an end to this problem? I know musicmatch has something called volume leveling or something, but I think it only works in musicmatch..

Any ideas?

There's a program called MP3 Gain.

It allows you to normalize by dB or you choose an entire album or folder, then make all the songs on it the same volume.
