4 cyl, 2.4L, 173hp, 163 ft-lbs.

yeah the sound system is very nice in there, and it is a well balanced system not just a bass box.

yeah i love the shifter its nearly better then the Civic Si. the best way to discribe it, is by saying its solid. and i am having a blast with her, (unofficially) 120mph in her on the way home tonight. closed course with trained drives. its nice having a nearly 2 mile long flat straight section of road just out side your house.

when i get my plates in is when that dealership plate with be gone.

2.4 is a nice size 4pot... get reasonable torque with the bigger 4cyl motors...

I have one of the new BT50 Mazda Ute /Pickups with a 2.5ltr 4cyl but Turbo Diesel and its a great little motor.

Im assuming its an American only model?

the Sport is the re-badged SS/NA of last year. there is a new SS/Turbo coming sometime mid-late 2008. its basically the HHR SS motor. they are trying to fight with the Mazdaspeed3 and SRT-4 in HP numbers.

yeah the wheels are polished at least not chrome, they are 17s so i am happy. but i am surprised how user friendly this engine is for a four banger. i can drive it around like my old 3.0L truck, its got power all over the power band. also the gas milage is awesome compared to the truck 8)
