Yeah, considering you need a ton of GPU power to display all of those pixels, performance must be iffy.

Well I run 2 x X1600 and its fine as I am not a PC gamer or any real gamer for that matter. I have now just gone down to three screens and it really is a case of less = more in a funny kinda way.

Now that I think of it, trying to look at 4 monitors must be a pain in the neck, literally.

Were you rolling up and down the length of your desk just to see what was on the 2 monitors at the end of the setup?

With my dual setup I find myself focused more towards one monitor than the other. Using the 3 monitor setup must solve the problem as you can just sit in the middle.

FYI, my new computer made it to the #3 spot on the SuperPI benchmark thread.. An accomplishment that took a whole night of failed overclocks and thinking I just burnt up my new setup.

Well it wasnt quite as bad as that, see picture one, but I am alot happier with just the three monitors, thats for sure.

I will try and update the spi scores tomorrow and in the mean time congratulations on your great score 8) 8)

Nice pics! Your comp station looks like some sort of a mission control. You need to get a big world map with LEDs on it to go on the wall behind your monitors and a big red button under a glass case. Then you would really be set for world domination

Yeh I have a spare projector that I guess I could shoot a picture of a map onto the wall with and stick some red dots on it or something, I guess a real map might be a bit more practical though LOL.

If its genuine, then that must have taken some real patience to get set up and running right.
