Default AOL Speed Limit Poll -Please contribute

http://news.aol.com/dailypulse/07200...00010000000001

I encourage those of you that are in favor of higher speed limits to vote on the poll listed above. I'm sure there will be countless people against it. Obviously the poll will have no direct effect, but it may make a foot note in a report or catch the eye of a legislator or two.

I would love for the speed limit to be raised over 75MPH for my trips across South Dakota for college. The interstate is pretty straight, and with relatively low amounts of traffic (hardly any compared with the traffic I saw in Illinois), so really the only thing that'd be harmed by a raise to 85 or 90 would be my fuel consumption (damnit, my car needs a 6th gear).

Around cities the speed limits around 65 work really well and should probably stay that way for safety, but on the open stretches it'd be great to raise it.

They have unlimited speed in the boondocks of the Northern Territory down under. Even if there were speed limits, I don't think there are any cops in those areas.
