Default Anybody been to the French F1 GP ?

I'm going to my first F1 Grand Prix (well sort of, got an invitation for Friday, but will stay until Saturday)

Did anyone of you attend the French Grand Prix before, what do I have to know in terms of traffic/ best places/ ...... ?

Any info/ suggestions are welcome.

for sure you can help me

Yes, Friday is a VIP day , but I want to stay another day there before driving back (~6 hours).
So I'm still looking for a place to stay overnight and it looks very difficult (it's 14th of July ) ... I was looking for a cheap hotel but so far, :bah: no chance.
This camp ground you mentioned, is there the possibility to make a reservation?
McDo is fine

^
any idea where I get to the site of the camp?

so far I checked magnyf1.com and gpfrancef1.com,...

edit:
found it, I guess
will make a reservation for the "PARKING EST CAMPEURS"

btw, about my invitation
the company I'm workingis using composite materials and my colleque in the composite department got the invitation from ACG (a composite manufacturer which works with different F1 companies).
Since he's not that fan of cars / or willing to do this 6-7 hour trip, he proposed to transfer his invitation to me and they agreed
It's only for Friday, so I'm a low-level-VIP , but Paddock-Club as a guest of MB is cool, isn't it :fuck:
