Thanks for the photos. I have to say I hope the rear wing isn't a finalized version. I think I much prefer the wing on the RS and even the 996 GT3  . The front end looks a little cluttered also but I could live with that. I have been fooled before with these spy pictures though so this time I'm going to take a wait and see attitude .

Basically what they are saying is that since the car has no rear air intakes, it most likely does'nt have a turbocharged engine. A 6cyl boxer with either 3,6l or 3,8l with around 400hk. They also say that it will keep the centermounted exhaust. And to the end: It will be available from late this year.

Looks much better than the 996, but I don't like the exhaust.

I believe this has already been posted on the "News" section, but anyway:

I don't think this is the GT3, but the Carrera 4 (the S version in this case)...

I could be wrong, but I think that the central exhaust is just a trick to make us think this is the GT3... There are some things that make me wonder...Like the interior, which looks just like a standard 997 from those pictures, and the brakes. I think the GT3 will have 350mm steel discs as standart, and the car in the pics has the regular 997 S brakes...

Plus, the Aerokit and the -20mm LSD option are again just to make it look like a GT3 in my opinion, and all that snow is a great place to test the AWD system...

It does make sense that they would wanna test the GT3 on a dry track instead..........

The centermounted exhaust looks gay on the 997.
