That's not bad, assuming you bought it in a store. Around here you pay about 50 euros for a model like that in a store. My dad bought his from a German at the fair for 28, so you can imagine why we like going there.

I bet!! But that fair took place just once a year, right? and well, it would be to hard to wait 365 before buying the next models just to save some euros

No, it's six times a year, so it's not that bad.

As we said many times, usual price for good models like Autoart (1/43 and 1/18), Minichamps (1/43 and 1/18), IXO (1/43), Kyosho (1/43, 1/18) and such are usually something like 40 USD for a small one and 80 for big ones..
The best place to buy them are normal stores since you can check them out before you buy them.. online you risk to receive a damaged or not perfect one and discover it when it will be to late

Well I guess they can't really play a lot with the prices... I see they are basically always the same worldwide

God damn these are fine collections gis, TT and EVO. I always spend some time in supermarket admireing some nice 1:18 scale models but unfortunately I always tend to "invest" my money somewhere else. But seeing those marvellous collections here I know I must start collecting them as well..
Very best pictures are the ones of gis about his Porsches:
Really nice!!!
EDIT: dani_d_mas collection - all those ferraris!!!!!!!!! Awwww.... Really excellent.
EDIT 2: just read the whole topic through again and my mind is made up - must start buying and collecting some nice models myself. and SOON. Hopefully I can show you my own collection also in the future.. At the moment there is only 1 F1 Ferrari kit (1:18) which was damaged by my 4 years old relative not even worth posting a pic of it..
EDIT 3: There are some very good links to the webpages where one can find lots of models related stuff... Perhaps gis, as the founder of this topic should put links to his first post so they would be easily accessible.. just a thought
