I think I know what model it is, check out the following link:

the company called CMC makes a 1:12 version but apparently a 1:18 version was due to come out at the end of '04.  It would make sense if its this one, since the detailing is amazing and would warrant such a high price.
EDIT: I just found the 1:18 SLR on their site, and its going for US$ 208 which is about £110 so its cheaper then what you saw

hmmm,interesting that could be the one.when i saw it the quality looked fantastc.i was thinkin whether £162 is good or bad to spend on one,i said i would never do that again after gettin the supra model....but this one looks really good

yeah it does, I found out about it in a magazine article I read today where they talk about the model a little bit......the 1/12 model would make a great showpiece

how much is the 1:12 i cant imagine it bein cheap seen as the 1:18 costs that much,lol but man i bet its an awesome peice to look at

Very nice! I almost bought it in 1:43 the other day.. then I thought a Ghibli would be a much cooler choice but I couldn't find the blue one I saw time ago anymore.. so I am stuck with no model LOL

Damm thats nice.....another one I didn't know was available in 1:18  I was just reading the Evo article on the Veyron last night so this is kind of fitting 
I now have 2 models I need to find......more $$$$

thanks guys.
ill get sum interior shots today sumtime,those pics i took were quick as my batterys ran out so ill get sum interior today
they also had this model in a silver/grey colour looked nice but not as nice as red and black
