Naaahh i think its the XTR2 that has a Hayabusa Engine......and does it make the car move or whatt!!!!!
lol...I cant be wrong. someone help! Unless EVO made the mistake of naming it a Civic Type R engine instead of a Hayabusa.

Do you get AMS on free-to-air TV in Sydney? We get it on Channel 31 (a community channel with nothing else good) every Monday night.

Have both good and bad news (don't we all hate that?)

Yes, Auto Motor und Sport was on TV tonight (even though the schedule said something different). They had a great review of the Lotus Exige with some nice driving.

Here comes the bad news, I didn't start the capping program in time and missed most of the Exige review  Hopefully someone out there got the segment capped. The rest of the program was capped however. Will have them posted soon...

A race car for the road - that’s what many cars aspire to be, only few ever make it. The Lotus Exige is one of those. Light, hard and brutal. It weighs 916 kilograms and symbolises a pure and genuine sports car. Adequate power plus low weight - that’s the formula Lotus has been using for a long time to construct its cars. One of the most uncompromising ways Lotus has applied this to a street-legal car is in the case of the Exige.

Unfortunately, not for the channel I'm getting AMS from

A few new AMS clips have been uploaded to zippo's webspace:

Auto Motor und Sport - Lotus Exige Snippet.mpg
(Yes, only the last 30sec of the review.. the remaining was at least 10x better)

Auto Motor und Sport - Audi S4 Cabriolet vs BMW M3 SMG Cabrio.avi
When the sun is out and tickles your nose without it burning, that’s when driving a convertible is great fun. For those who want even more there are two very seductive German convertibles on the market: the Audi S4 and the BMW M3 both more than just cars for fresh-air fans but also loaded with power - more than 340 horses to be exact.

Auto Motor und Sport - Chrysler Crossfire Roadster.avi
The pop-up wing is an old familiar face. The same as its becoming front section. And people have slowly grown used to its sculpted hood. That’s all part of Chrysler’s big hope, the Crossfire. But this one is new. Now the Crossfire is offered as a roadster. That allows it to get closer to its roots, namely the Mercedes SLK, the car the Crossfire is technically based on. But this roadster is a very unique car. A true Chrysler.

And one on draak's webspace:

5thGear-GreatestCars.rar
Finally, the part 1 of the rar set. Enjoy the 5th Gear special!

Excellent selection of video's from AMS! Thanks AlienDB7.

I think the roadster version of the Crossfire looks much better because you don't have that arched back any more when you drop the hood.

I'll send that BMW M3 Cabrio vs Audi S4 to my uncle if you don't mind. He currently has a 330Ci and thinks the M3 is to close to his current car to buy sell the 330.
