Yeh, I just checked and although I get sound from both speakers, there does seem to be an echo to it, I will have to investigate further

Found the problem, a bent pin on one of the connectors, I guess I will have to re-do them all again tomorrow :x

Anyway I thought this episode was pretty bad. The XKR piece was good and I love that car even if it is underpowered for its class. I thought it was kind of unfair for that car to get a Stig lap under such bad conditions. We will never know how fast that car is with the Stig driving under good conditions.
Jamie Oliver was ok, about average for celeb in a reasonable priced car.
Richard Hammond’s crash footage was very well done and I’m glade they got that over with like they were.
BUT!! That road construction piece was just terrible! Totally boring, I almost fell asleep during it and not funny. And it took up HALF THE F'ing SHOW! Just more forced comedy that has nothing to do with cars at all! Plus there was no news segment, so this show really only had 1 car review, the XKR. This show has just gotten terrible. These skits are getting so obscure…. repaving a road in the middle of nowhere? Couldn’t they have at least put some kind of sports car on that road when it was done and at least have given us a few shots of it driving down the road?
Just rubbish. Half of this episode had nothing to do with cars. And they only featured 1 car and only had the Stig driving once in terrible track conditions. A really bad start to the new series.
Cheers

Lol!!! Excellent! BYEEEE!
Whilst there was a lack of cars and a strange absence of a series preview in this show, I thought it was fantastic!
I laughed. ... alot, the Hammond footage was handled well too.

P.S.
Never seen this before!!

Yeh I thought the bit about eating the fruit off the bushes was hilarious although I wasn't sure if this was something that might be "british" only humor.
All in all I thought it was an excellent first show and a very welcome return to out favorite show. 8/10 for me
And yeh the anti caps mod can be a pita sometimes, its been in place since 2004 though.
