Why ?? In the last BMW 3 series the coupe rear lights were different from the sedan ones. They were similar, but smaller... And I think that's what they're going to do with this new model.
And I hear everybody saying the rear lights from the E90 sedan are ugly, that the rear looks like a Nissan Primera.....

That "picture" of the maroon 3-series look hideous. Surely it cannot be that ugly?

What would the weight of the engine + the turbos/intercooler/plumbing be compared to the v8?

I like the styling of the head lights... if they kept the shame shape but made it a bit smaller it would look nice. The ones on the coupe look to thin and smooth..
We still have yet to see "Official" pictures though..

Likewise for the E36, the Sedan and Coupe had different dimension taillights, same design though.
This might be of interest. Suppose to be the E90 - E92 M3

I concur.
Seriously, now it's starting to look good. Maybe because we're finally seeing some without those chunky snow tires.

I doubt it because those looks very deep dish.

BMw had those on all BMW testcars and you havent seen them in production yet. Besides those dont work as turn signals , its just tape.
You dont need to be worried, they wont copy MB on that.
