Sure - if by "new car experience" you mean being shafted by 30 to 40% depreciation in the first year and nothing else to how for it other than "new car smell" which is now available in an aerosol can...
at this point i don't give a shit about the depreciation RC. I know how bad the new ones drop in value but i've been scraping by for too long to care anymore.

After you have paid $59,800 for a car that only cost $40,000 and is worth $19,000 after the 5 years of paying for it - I think you might just care hehe

Don't buy it new!!!!

I am going through the same thing with a WRX, I would love a new one but the first year depreciation is just crazy.

I have found a one year old WRX with 16,000km (10,000 miles) for about $AU 6-7K less than new - a much smarter decision IMO. Its not like I really miss out on anything by getting it second hand.

But its your decision and money in the end, so do what makes you happy.

not true. If i could find a 96 Impala SS that hasn't been ghetto-fied i'd be all over it. Hell, if i could find a 64 Impala SS that hasn't been ghetto-fied i'd be all over that too

Good luck ZfrkS62...You will love the cars balance, looks etc....I just bought a Daytona Blue 05 model...Love the car and the heritage...Just wish it was faster..After getting out of a Z06 it feels slow...But it is sooo much fun to drive....Heres a pic of a my350z.com site member named Lebby's car that looks pretty much like mine except for the Varis duct and front lip...I got similar rims in 20' polished as well....Really a great looking car...Im waiting to get my digital camera then Ill post pic of my Touring model....But for now enjoy pics of Lebby's car...

discussions with my 330i driving coworker have revealed that the Z seems to be on the slow end of the price range. The 01-02 M3's should be around the 28-32 range, plus he has a co-hort that works for UUC and can get me some stuff at a neat discount..and being able to do it on my own allows me to save that much more. But i'm sure the Greddy TT kit for the 350 wont' cost me as much as a supercharger for the 3

Didn't really sway me one way or the other though.

one of the main things that will push towards Bimmer or Z will be the payments.

ya'll can look this stuff up on the net... but a 01-02 M3 is not 28-32. Avg i've found is 40K. i mean... im not talking about cars with salvage titles or 100K+ miles or anything. the dep. on a M3 is pretty damn good compared with others. personally... i love the 350z, i just always find myself wishing it went a little bit faster and had a better suspension for the price.

The 350Z is dog slow compared to the Z06. When I drive my buddies 350Z this complete lack of power makes the car not fun to drive for me.

I guess folks want diffrent things from hi-p cars
