I am not sure if GTR goes straight in comparison with GT4 (till it is on xbox) which I suppose will take a while. Though thats my opinion. GTR is an awesome game. The GTR Demo and Press Demo were just brilliant in every aspect, cept' the tracks looked a bit dull (kinda like overcast even when it would be bright and sunny) which really doesnt make any negative point.. Its just that, Thats the only thing you can point out on while trying to pick flaws, i suppose.
Still I think GT4 will kick some major butt when it comes to GamePlay and Physics.
On Graphics, I have no complaints either.
Besides, One is a Driving Sim and one is a Racing Sim.. (HAHAHAHA - Now That arguement will never end).

One is a real simulation(GTR) and one is a joke. Please never use the word simulation and grand turismo in the same sentce.

I drove GT3 and its as far from a proper sim as dildos from the real thing.

Grand Turismo should've never used simulation on any of their packages.

One lap around Laguna Seca and I can point out tons of things that are wrong with it.

Its a very bad simulation lets put it that way.

Has anyone actually gotten GT4 yet?

I'm sitting here with a copy of the chinese GT4 release next to me (full retail), wondering why it won't work on my ps2 >.<

Its a really sad day for me really... being so close yet so far from being able to play it. Well the thing is, as you know, its a duel layer disc. This means that the slide card software doesnt actually enable the ps2 to read duel layer dvd's (cos its new stuff!). So i was wondering, has anybody with a chipped ps2 gotten GT4 to work?

If so, surely my baby is going in for a chip service

i just read throught the whole thread... dayymmm! GT4 is looking great. I am happy that it will come out march cuz I dont have money to repair my G35's front bumper but a ps2 modded, buy a TV, buy the game, and buy the steering wheel.

one last thing bout GTR... its out to buy on PC or not? From what I understand it is, and the XBOX version will be better? Why will it be better and will there be another gtr release afterwards for the PC?

^ the PC version is OUT, well not quite, only the German version is out, but you can ge ta translation patch for it. ^

i'm not sure if the xbox will be better, i'm sure they're the same.
