Don't mean to start shit but Tags are pretty crappy watches IMO.
Before I get flamed, let me clarify. They are good looking watches (one of the best looking IMO) but their insides are kind of shitty for the price you pay for them.

Oh please! Tags are known for their accuracy and quality worksmanship. How can they be shitty?

umm really.. I took mine back and got a refund due to it being a piece of crap

basically, it wasn't reliable at all, the damn thing just stopped for no reason several times, so that went back to the store as no way am I paying that amount of money for something that doesnt work correctly.

a shame, as they do look great, but I was less than impressed and will prolly never buy another

Go to any watch maker (not a jewler) and ask them about TAG quality. BTW accuaracy does not mean quality. Most TAGs use a quartz movement and not a mechanical movement, that's why they are accurate, but so is a 20 dollar casio. TAGs use really cheap movements which they buy from Swatch. Their movements run about $15 for the quartz, and about $40 for the mechanical, in a watch that costs over a thousand dollars. Their movements are so cheap that if you take it for repairs, the watchmaker will most likely throw away the whole movement and replace it with a new one.

TAGs are all about marketing to they youth now.

I used to work at a jewellery store in Arnhem (Netherlands) we sold Rolex, Breitling, Cartier and... Tag Heuer. There were some many guys who had bought a fake one (somewhere else) for the real price....luckily you are not one of them!

Dang! I think it's pretty obvious his is fake because they'd never brag about it using a quartz movement like that.

Dan: I'm sorry to hear that! I've had my Tag for about four years now and haven't had a single problem with it.

a timex

but really a Breitling would be my favorite. My boss has what I call a watch fetish and is always telling me about eh watches he rotates through. His Breitlings, Tags, Rolexs, Sea Wolfs, ICWs....so on and so forth. For a daily watch though I would like a tag, not sure witch model though, I'm still a college kid with big dreams and litte money

YAY!!!! Watches!!!! My favorite would have to be my custom 2-tone datejust with oyster band, smooth bezel, champagne pearl roman numeral dial and it looks very close ot the masterpiece tomorrow when i do my personalized pics ill have to take some foreveryone, also i looked at those jacob watches at neiman marcus the other day and they were only 10k and 8k respectfully. Did you add a zero by mistake or whats so special? they only have quartz movements and the ones i was looking at where just SS. IMO overpriced although multiple time zones are cool!
