I read in a portuguese magazine ( AutoBild group ) that this new car will have the same doors as the 300SL Gullwing. It would be pretty cool!!!  8)

IIRC, this was a photoshop concept done by an amateur car fan. He was speculating that the "new" CL (the one that was released recently) would look like this, since the old CL was very similar to the S-class, so he took the "new" S-class and chopped it to look like a 2-door coupe.
Sadly however, MB never saw this design in time. If the new CL had this concept's rear end, I'm sure the orders would've been flying.
