Designers these days should start to earn their money and work for it instead of keeping reviving old design. Keep the legendary cars legendary and try to create one which will be a future classic. I'm getting a bit sick with all this retro mumbo-jumbo these days....

Recycling all these old cars is getting tiresome IMO...

I couldn't have said that better! I'm sick and tired of all this "nostalgia" in car designs. Please design something modern, forward-looking!

either way...i'll be at the Detroit auto show....so IF it does make it....i'll take lots of pics
you and me both... im really cerious as to what might be exciting there this year... either the big secrets are out, and they are o.k. or the really big secrets are kept, and it will be as great as the 2001 NAIAS was... the 2 car Lambo stand may hold 3 cars this time around? Ferrari may have the FXX on its stand along with 3rd place F2005.

Porsche seems it may be a let down... im hoping the GT3 will be there, as Turbo will be seen at Geneva.

oh, and i already know the Veyron is at the LA auto show... so im hoping it'll be in Detroit too, im sure Tom Calini would be interested in it

i think there is zero chance of us seeing a Corvette SS concept this year... Ford... well, we'll see the Cobra convertable, pre-production SVT sport trac, we may see the SVT version of the CD3....mabey a supercar concept... i havent heard anything.

i hope im pleasently suprised this year

All three of us will be there...I'll have close to a gig of pictures when I get back too, so *knock wood* there will be some interesting and attractive cars to see

I believe I'll probably be going on Saturday the...14th...which is the first day of the show if I'm not mistaken. I'm not 100% sure on that yet, but I'll PM everybody who's expressed interest as the details come in.

im a big miura fan and was apprehensive about this idea but now ive seen it im loving it.
needs a few changes tho.
remove the mini splitters on each front corner, colour code the mirrors, remove indicators from mirrors, different rear lights (one concept pic in AutoExpress last week showed a pic with a variant of tinted murci rear lights) oh and different wheels - i can see they are an attempt to ape the gorgeous originals but to me (unlike the car itself) they dont work well enuff.

someone said about different colours - (saw these on another forum so not my own work)

Orange

Blue

Green

Colour Coded Splitters (id rather not have them at all)

Ive included this odd one cos the splitters are removed.
