Unfortunately "sitting back" doesn't make me any money.

:fuck:
Probably not - need to save some money again. The tinted windows were included in the purchase price so it didn't cost me anything extra.

I picked red for exactly the reason mentioned - its RARE! I would also have liked a black one, but they are really hard to find and then keep in good condition.
BTW, the wheels look gold in those pics - but they aren't.

Its going in for a window tint next week (part of the purchase), and then I will lower it at some stage.
Wheels and performance mods will have to wait a bit.....need more $$$.

Great looking rex, had one myself before the Evo, was a 2001 bug eyed model in black. Look forward to seeing some mods.

After 3 months and ~5000kms it was time to spend some money on my baby!
The ride height was really bothering my, especially from side-on it looked like a Landcruiser or something. :bah:
So I just had some King Springs (Low) installed, which dropped it by 30mm all round.....I love it, the ride is still perfectly acceptable but it definately looks more aggressive.
Next on the list is a Short Shift kit and/or an exhaust.
Here are some before/after shots to see the difference:
One of the rear springs...

looks like she's ready for her next skyline at night shot
is the handling improved any... or does it feel mostly cosmetic? ... im guessing for the best handling results, various other gemoetries ought to be changed a bit as well... roll center, akerman angle etc.
looks good tho

I've only driven it back from the workshop to home, which is busy main roads with 60kmh limit so I haven't tested it properly yet. However it gives a lower centre of mass which should help in the corners I think, with reduced body roll etc.
The car isn't being tracked yet so the impact on the street will be minimal at this stage, so I guess you could say its mainly cosmetic for now.
