It was pretty stable, not as stable as a sports car obviously, but the suspension and downforce have been changed to help. The car has only hit that speed twice in its life, once with me behind the wheel, and once with my dad. It really was at top speed, we could not have got 1 more rpm out of it lol. As you say it is not really designed for 170mph, we had it tuned to hit 155 easily. In fact its 0-60 is slightly slower than standard due to the gearing.

I've been 140mph in a BMW 740iL, which was insane...
One of my friends dad's has a Porsche 996 Turbo and he was driving and we got up to 150mph, those cars are unbelievable!

I did 180kmh in my Nissan Presea. The speed limit was 90. The car couldn't go beyond that.

btw ...the fastest i ever been is bout 150 in my RX-7
man ...there were other cars in the street ....did u do 187 in an air field or wat ?? :shock:

I am not a speed lover. I am always affraid to crash into others.....with high speed an airbag won't save you. I have driven 240 kmph in my m3 once. On an almost empty autobahn when I came back from a skitrip from Austria. My girl slept during a great part of the trip. If she had been awake, this would not have happend.. (LOL)

180 km/h in a Ford Escort 1.3 :shock: in a descent but it was 10 years ago, now i never go beyond 140 km/h.
