Bugatti hasn't been French since the demise of the original company by Ettore Bugatti. Decades later it was an Italian company and now it is a Volkswagen branch. The only link to France today is that the plant is situated at Molsheim, France, the place where the original Bugattis were built as well. But I have to agree with dylan, Bugatti these days is simply VAG.

You people do know that when VAG bought out Lamborghini, the company still existed... meaning lot's of the original Lambo guys were still kept - which is why the V12 is the italian one, and not a german derivative. Unlike Bugatti, in which the company literally folded, and VAG simply bought out the dead horse and gave it people.
IIRC, the man who headed VAG during the Bugatti purchased also criticised BMW for not holding on to the MG/Rover company.
From that respect, I think it goes to show how much more brains BMW AG has compared to VAG.

yes...a diamond...a real diamond. LOL.
fucking hell.
Bugatti are also working on other cars....and these other cars will NOT be the Chiron, EB118, or any of the older cars. They will be ALL NEW. There are plans for Bugatti after the Veyron.....using V16 Engines.

Don't you mean W16 engines?

ENOUGh said!! LOL
BMW does nothing really...compared to the amount of activity VAG does. What does BMW have? Rolls-Royce? haha....not impressed.
VAG controls several great companies...and they do it well.
|
You mean like Audi's new goatee?
or the Phaeton?
what about Bugatti?
VAG only got Lambo right. Everything else they do is distinctly average. Average designs, average engineering, average cars.
Besides... Bangle's right. Flame surfacing owns Audi's facial hair style.
Look at the E90, it looks FAR better than the Mankind-faced Audi A4.
