The Gemballa 911 600 is fast enough, I can't imagine what they'll do the Carrera GT. I'm sure it we will be great, but they shouldn't manipulate too much with the exterior, the car is beutiful enough just as it is

Is it street legal with 880 bhp ? I mean, can it pass the regulation rules on pollution with this type of power ? And what about the reliability ? I guess they rebuild the engine every 5000 miles ...

...i´ve never heared of any test or customer, but there´s a 880hp street legal car, don´t know if it´s just a "showing off" ride for Gemballa to show what´s possible....
nevertheless isn´t that unbelievable nearly 900hp out of a flat six engine... :shock:

I have a test of the 700 bhp 911 (type 964) tuned by RS Tuning and it's really impressive, like a Sport Proto on road... So with 880 bhp i imagine.

Isn't the CGT supposed to be hairy with its current horsepower? Boost it by another couple of hundred and it'll be lethal. Just image it in the wet :shock:

- CGT´ll try it again...hopefully -

there´re some strong rumours that the very well known german car mag "Sport Auto", which is IMO one of the best in existance, will get another chance to test a CGT in spring.
after the 7:40 on damp NS in fall ´03 with a press car, look for more details and complete scan on that test here in "Porsche news", i hope they´ll get a production version, which is definitely lighter and maybe they´ll get Walter Röhrl as a driver. on a sunny spring day with WR behind the wheel and perfect conditions IMO a 7:22-7:25 should be managable...

so let´s wait and see...
btw, Feb. issue of "Sport Auto" features the GT3 RS "Supertest", hope it´ll do better than the 360CS...

i´m pretty sure it´ll, read my topic in "car chat" about the 360CS Supertest, it isn´t even that superiour to the std. GT3...

I recently found a website that lists NS times for a variety of cars. It listed a NS time of 9:26 obtained by AutoBild for a 1987 911 Carrera. It is interesting to see that the current naturally aspirated 911 runs it in 8:17. The link for the site is http://www.planet-walter.de/rekorde.htm
