Hold up a second. . . so this car is suppose to replace the 360 Modena?

What's wrong w/ the Modena? How old is it? I thought the Modena just received a facelift?

By the way, it looks really really nice. I like the continuity of the Ferrari theme.

This car isn't a from Ferrari, IMO... it just looks like a few pics from an imaginitave person.

Look at this pic and you will see the car is just a rebodied 360.. the glasshouse is identical and so are the proportions (although it is difficult to tell from the quality of the pic).

It looks as if most of you guys think this is Ferraris new developmental car, but IMO it is not

For instance... why would Ferrari put Enzo mimicking wheel on the car... it looks like a private owner was just playing around. Even the lights (front and rear) are carbon copies of the Enzo's... i cannot believe Ferrari would be so unoriginal and steal ideas of one of their own cars.. i know that some design elements are lifted from old cars, but it would be foolish to create an Enzo look-a-like so soon after the Enzo was sold.

It's called family continuity.

Errr... which car, other than the F50 and Enzo, of course, has copied so heavily the design of the F40

I don't think it is copying the bigger car or stealing styling cues from the bigger car. Like I said I see it as part of the family, they look alike. So yeah, there definitely cues from the Enzo, maybe that's how they wanna carry their design theme into the next generation of cars.

People don't bash MB for making the C almost exactly like the S.

Just as last generation's 5 series (E39) was almost exactly like a down sized 7 Series (E38).

By the way, I think this new car, what ever it is, 420, looks GREAT!!!

Love it but like some others, I'm not so sure about the enzo-ish rear end.

Car manufacturars like to do that these days, give the car similar looks, so you can immediatly identify it as a VW or a Ford, etcetera... especially the front: the grille, headlights or allmost identical.

But ferrari shouldn't follow this trend IMO. It's a ferrari, and each car is a masterpiece on it's own. Originality is a big factor, so the rear shouldn't look the same IMO.

Apart from that: if anybody here is working for Ferrari, and you're looking for a FREE testdriver, contact me All I'm asking is perhaps letting me keep the car after the test-period... that isn't too much to ask is it... and if that's not an option, I'm allways open for discussion

Which Ferraris look alike, apart from the resembalnce of the F40-F50 and Enzo... a 360 doesn't look like a 612, 550, 355, 308 etc...

Anyways... back to my previous point.. i do not believe these drawings are accurate and that the picture is of a modified 360, the glass house is identical

The photo pic (not the illustrations) look like a riced-up Modena.

I highly doubt ferrari will do a family thing. That's just not... ferrari.

Look forward to seeing this on top gear in flesh, and maybe at the British GT's which I could see it getting used in buds.

The bulbous fenders, the clear glass enclosed headlights, the round taillights, etc.

Yeah, I don't know if these are real or not. But my previous point was that I wouldn't mind this if they carry out their theme throughout the family.

Neither would I. the Enzo is a very special looking car... but Ferrari would only take a few cues from it, that is why this car look to be fake.

I think that if Ferrari carried on with such radical styling like the Enzo's, they would fall out of favour, but the odd piece of quirky design will keep us all on our toes
