What would be he be drivin'when he is, let us say, 48
My answer to this is simple. Having a Gallardo at 18 is like a boosted stepping stone. If you drive that at 18 at 30 you move up to a murc, at 48 a 911 turbo or a carrera gt. I realize Audi has destroyed the refinement theory to an extent of driving a rougher car at younger age and a more refined car later in life but, that's another piece of the story. An s500 isn't meant for an 18 year old, it's too lame.
Essentially "it wouldn't be fun unless you are doing 120 down the highway with your head on fire" I forget who says that but it sums this up
I mean this is a happy warm type way.

Thank you MAE, it is not really directed against you but it's due to some "annoying" situations and now when someone wich is 18 years old post a Topic like yours we are suspicious, but you seem to understand it
For the Mercedes, i think it's a very good choice and, if you can avoid it, don't sell it !

IMO, and i may be wrong
No way sell it, luxury cars don't hold value very well. Buy something that will hold it's value. A timeless piece of art. Not a car that will become outdated by new gadgets and specialties.

Why is everyone being a dick around here? I guess your all jealous (if he really does have that sort of funds). All he is asking for is some opinions on the cars.

i agree with you everso in every word. As I said before, supercars are not to be bought based on opinion, rather more by desire.

I don't know, MAE came to a car forum on the internet, a place with lots of people who like cars. Posted a thread in Car Chat asking to get opinions about a couple of cars he is interested in. I don't think that means he is not using his own mind or shows anything about the money he may have.

what bothers me more is how people don't use their own judgement to get a car. If someone needs resources, there are tons of videos and articles around made by people who have driven these cars..i see no purpose in this post aside from ego feeding and lack of knowledge about what goes into buying a supercar.
Well said Everso your right alot of people can afford those cars but they spend it differently.

Hold your horses people! Within the first page we had 'I call BS' blah blah blah....how the hell do you know that for sure?? Give the man a chance! It is possible for someone 18 to own more than a Lada! I went to school with one (ok, he was a dick!).

We asked for some pics....he supplied a link. OK, we can't be 100% yet. He has said that he is getting a pics of the JW sign, which in a all fairness he did not have to do.

I know we have had a lot of 'ownage' recently, but lets not scare off any new members with a decent car!

Anyway, I await further pics!
