Odd that everyone under the sun was warning them of the attack, but security was upgraded, then when nothing happened in a week or so they went back to normal.

The warning included that the terrorists were comming over water. Since the water boundery with Pakistan is rather small, it would seem that would be relatively easy to patrol.

Or if you loose contact with your ocean patrolers, maybe you look into it quickly. One of the Indian patrolers who was not killed, helped them navigate to Mumbai, before he was killed.

Small knives and box cutters were ok to bring on a plane prior to 911.
