Drooling right now. I am so pleased Alfa will come back to the U.S. This car looks magnificent. Does anyone else see a Corvette in it's profile?? Especially in the convertible version.

The day this boring and hackneyed design first showed up that is exactly what I said.
This car takes design cues directly from the corvette.
I'll look for the comparisons one of these days and post them again.

Not comparing - just showing there was no unique inspiration to the design
Unless you are willing to admit the designer was in love with the Vette and needed to express this in the 8C design

Come on guys... get serious... how is it possible to even think that the AR Centro Stile magicians were inspired by the Corvette?... Especially since the 8C Comp. had the 33 Stradale as a design model.

I see absolutley no resemblance between the Vette and the 8C... you can't compare the vette's andgular design to the sexy curves of this italian beauty.
IMO the 8C could be by far the best looking car of this year and next for that matter, and it's no 2 in my personal list after the 355.
