Once i live in the north of Spain, and the roads are very twisty indeed, rains a lot, even the motorways arent in the bests conditions, id suggest a 4WD turbo car such as a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo, or the Impreza STI,......despite the basque autonomous police(called Ertzaintza in the basque language) has got some tunned Renault 21 Turbo Quadra in addition to some citroen Xantia Activa V6

cops quite regualy get outran by cars alot less powerful then thoes ones listed.

do you guys realize that robbing a bank or something usually means you are already broke so getting your hands on a car like some of you are suggesting is very hard to do and you probably wouldn't be driving it around if you have stolen it because if you steal cars you usually sell them immediately.

Cop cars are cheap to buy at auction and already you have the exact same car they have then just pour a litle bit of money into it and your good to go and you still spent very little on the car. read my earlier post it would work.

But the better idea as TT said is don't run from police, specially here, brazilian cops enjoy too much practical shooting.

No no no, the best car would be a Taxi. The only thing you would have to do would be to place the car in the taxi station where all taxi drivers and their cars are, and wait...just like in a Stallone's film .
Don't forget that with powerful cars you run out of fuel very fast.
Another possibility would be a police car.

i know, i know, a dirtbike isnt a car but, I've ran from the cops on my ktm125sx!!! just pull into the nearest field and fly through! No cop is going to chase you through 2ft deep soil, and it's what the bike was made for.
