500bhp and nearly 400 ft/lbs of torque should make it plenty fast. the car is also pretty damn small.
From what I read, the Murcielago is faster though.

Well, it's a V10, it's said to crush the 360 Modena, we'll see about that but i don't think it would be a step down, maybe sideways.

The performance as I understand it... is not far off the Murcielago and therefore it should leave the F355 for dust.... I am hoping it will be more fun and more useable than the Murcielago....
I do know where your coming from though...a Diablo to a Gallarado is kind of a "downstep"....but as skelter said perhaps at this level we should say "sidestep" as the performance of both models is very simlar....

are you gonna keep the 355 and Diablo if you buy a Gallardo? that would be a hell of a garage! what color you thinking about getting?

Gallardo
mm... maybe not jon
It will be interesting when Tiff or Clarkson does a review/test on the Gallardo to see how it does when compared to its bothers and sisters... Its so interesting Lamborghini decided to build a 'cheaper' lambo. I like the idea and i suspect this idea came from Audi as it seems very commercially sensible, not a traditional lamborghini trait. The Gallardo should really knock the (Hyundai styled - looks like a Hyundai Coupe in some ways) Ferrari 360 Modena dead. btw im sure Hyundai stole some design ideas from Ferrari.
Nice article on the Gallardo http://www.qv500.com/lamborghinigallardop1.htm

Those wheels are awesome on the gallardo. How much smaller is the gallardo compared to the murcielago?

The only apparent flaw of the Gallardo is the lack of scissor doors.

to me the only flaw in the gallardo is that it has 4WD
your not going to get the same driving expeirience as the 355 IMO
but i mean hey if you drive it and you love it why the fuck shouldn't you buy it

Amazing. I never knew it didn't come with scissor doors. I thought it was a Lambo trade mark to have scissor doors on their cars.

Nice pics
Nice pics Jabba. Its good to see they let you take pics inside the lambo dealership, not like in LA.
Didnt look like they had too many cars? or did you only shoot 2 Murcielagos and a Gallardo? I thought the London dealer would have a few more.
Where are their diablos? Do they keep them at another showroom?
I cant wait till the local lambo dealer lands a Gallardo.

Heh, I wish we HAD a local Lamborghini dealer.
I'd love to see the hi res pics if you don't mind Jabba.
Jabba, what do you think about it? Looks nice in pics, but I'm sure it's better in person.
