^^^ i have no idea what you think your are talking about.
but the fact is this form of art work is called 'vector' artwork,
i would know cause i have worked with many companies that like to put this type of artwork in their ad campaigns
i think after PS 4 or 5 it has been a raster/vector program, unlike illustrator (would be the best progam for artwork like this) which is vector only. and would perform alot better then PS for vector work like you are trying to do.
and you can fill the vector path's as vectors, you just don't know how to do it

what i was saying is .. you can resize vectors to whatever size you like ... it wont turn boxy like the usuall pics when you increase their size ... thast why companies use them in the ad's cuz they can put em anywhere they want like huge ad boards etc etc ...
things arnt always what they seem
they look like vector drawings but they arnt
"" and you can fill the vector path's as vectors, you just don't know how to do it ""
lol .. what ? actually after closing the vector's path .. you Fill it with color or gradient ...
i happen to work a bit on vectors

Ill keep an eye out for your update, all ive dont recently is recolour the fiesta I did in the same way I did the focus.
Ill start anther when i build up the patients to do it On the fiesta I did'nt colour the oulines, I just did the lines as usual, and then messed with the hue and saturation to make it glow more. Think Id do a evo next like i said eailier or something similat.

Awesome job Daggernite!
I just started this morning on the Camaro concept. I liking this so far.
I've just about finished the drawing, just need to do some more work on the body, than the wheels.

Manik, your latest is great, you've really got the hang of applying the shadows. I've found you need to be real careful to how you apply the technique. Too much can ruin the effect, to little and you dont get the effect. Also the shape is hard to do. But you seem to have mastered that. Well done.
Saadie - your car looks unique, its the colouring which differs from maniks original toon style. You've got the the many diffrent shades between the colours, blended it in really well, and it looks good. I really think these look cool and original.

Thats brilliant! It's much different from the way I do it but still love it. Did you just use the gradients in photoshop? How did you give it such a soft "feel"?
EDIT: btw, Daggernite, what car you tooning next?

nope ... i didnt use gradients ...... because youll have to program the gradiens for every other part .. it'll take lots of time .... btw i use paint shop pro ...
what i actually did was hand sprayed the ever part seperatly with 2 or 3 colors then did a mothion blur to smothen it up and a lil gaussian blur to give it a 3d effect
i tried to do it the way you do .. but i just cant figure out where to put what color
you pics are like toons .. my pics are like anime

Oh I see, I like the effect that you can create with Paint Shop Pro. Are you going to keep on tooning?
