I know what you mean I need a new tranny and Iwant a new Rear End or atleast to rebuild it I while I'm at it I'll probably get a new driveshaft and half shafts. And there goes $5 grand. I plan to keep this car for a long time out of choice of course.

wow they have my car's trans but I have decided on a different one just waiting for a little more cash to come my way since I want to do it all at the same time so i have as little down time as possible.
I'm getting one of these:
Art Carr EXTREME 4R70W Transmission $2,125
A COMPLETE brand new drop-in Transmission for the '94-97 Thunderbirds and Cougars. $300 core charge refunded when your old trans is returned.
This bad boy will handle anything you can throw at it. Built to handle way over 600 HP, it is the perfect trouble free electronically controlled transmission for your stock to highly modified supercharged motor. This transmission retains the factory lockup feature.
Includes the mechanical diode kit, a premium 2 1/4" OD band, billet intermediate stub shaft, 8-pack direct drum, Raybestos blue plate clutches, improved main pressure regulator valve, improved bypass clutch control valve, their valve body shift improver for better fluid flow and firmer shifts, and all the other high performance goodies Art Carr is known and respected for.
Art Carr STREET / STRIP 4R70W Transmission $1.825
A COMPLETE brand new drop-in Transmission for the '94-97 Thunderbirds and Cougars. $300 core charge refunded when your old trans is returned.
Art Carr quality and reliability at an unbelievable price. This NEW 4R70W tranny is for those Thunderbird and Cougar owners who have engines that are still stock or have several bolt-ons.
Why have a local shop attempt to rebuild your transmission and screw it up when you can get a NEW High Performance Art Carr 4R70W for the same price. This transmission retains the factory lockup feature.
Includes the mechanical diode sprag, 2 1/4" OD band, direct drum 8-pack, their valve body shift improver for better fluid flow and firmer shifts, premium clutch packs, and all the other high performance goodies Art Carr is known and respected for.
They make some of the best trannys out there that are affordable.
They are actually a little better priced than the site you gave me for my car but still a helpful site thanks

Try visiting http://www.shepracing.com/ - they prolly make the best trans for our DSMs. Dont be ashamed of the 14b. If you want, I can hook you up with a video of a guy running low 12s (12.1 I think) with the 14b. The fact is many people run strong 12s with this turbo. A friend of mine, with some basic mods, ran a 13.2@102 at 4200ft with his 14b. If you have a decent head on your sholders, you can do alot with that turbo. People have even broke into the 11s.

Yea, the TSi model of the Talon and the Eclipse with the turbo had an older detuned Evo motor. It made less power and was a bit weaker than the Evo motor but this could easily be fixed 8).
EDIT-Bah sorry, I was a bit late lol.

here comes the japanese car know it all!
and now everyone is making SRT feel a bit better!

yeah, thats right, but you gotta keep in mind one of the DSM rules;
- Everytime you go to mod something some damn maintenance thing breaks down. and thats what i'm dealing with right now. :x

I've been dealing with DSMs for awhile now and alot of thigns are user error. Just maintain the car and it'll be nice back to you. Dont let things go un-noticed and dont do stuff half-ass. If you're nice to the car, it'll be nice to you. Period.
