Correction... mine decided not to notify anymore!
Yesterday was good, today don't. I'm with the same problem that Jabba has.
When I receive a new message, doesn't notify.

The are two messegers: MSN messeger and Windows messeger.
I would recomend using MSN Messeger because windows messeger is very buggy.
Had a similar problem when I was using Windows messeger but since I changed to MSN messeger never had any problem and also comes with more features.

That is correct but as I have mentioned before I upgraded from MSN messenger 6.0 as that had stopped working to 6.1 that still isn't working.
Microsoft seem to be aware of it now..so I hope they get it sorted out soon.

I use MSN messenger 6.1, at home i'm with the same problem.
Here in work i just installed it a week ago and it was MSN 6.1.
Jabba, when you know something more about this problem just say, i'll try to figure out the problem.

Just to let everyone know...after many more problems recently of messenger cutting out...it seems by fixing these more recent problems they have also fixed the email notify feature...as it started working again about 10 minutes ago for me....
