Such an awesome car
Although I dont like the contrasts too much (i mean the huge wings, and car´s width compared to the elegant shape), its performance and handling are subzero as the M3 E30 Sport Evolution II
In terms of rare and superb cars, Id add the Opel Omega 3000 evolution (Ive no clue if it was produced as vauxhall carlton) It has an evolution on brakes, engine, suspension, shape....in a similar way to the M3 E30, the merc 190 E 2.5-16, the ford sierra cosworth (if we suppose the RS 500 an evolution based on the ordinary sierra cosworth RS), and so on

def the coolest merc there ever was and that will be is it correct that you can adjust the rear wing to create more downforce?

Great pics TT. Here is an interesting article from a German magazine which features the 190 evo II, you may notice a then virtually unknown driver at the wheel of the Mercedes!

Really an impressive ride, too bad it was wet, but it's light, 1200 kg I think and when accelerating hard, it's really something despite the relatively low horsepower quote! An amazing push and you still feel like you're sitting in grand daddy's 190E!! I adored the ride and taking pics of this beauty!

I know exactly what you mean, I have driven the EVO II several times myself. And it is an fantastic ride! I didn't expect this car to accelerate so fast with only 235 BHP. And the downforce at 200+ km/h is also great.
Great shoot!

Nice car. Not my kind of car, as it's wing is too extreme, specially for a Merc, but a very nice machine, with awesome quality!
