Ill stick with the private sector thank you very much.
So you would say tax cuts to the citizens of European nations would have a significant impact on economic growth in the EU region?
I would think so. The more money you have in your pocket, the more likely you are to spend it right?

Man, and here I was thinking that I was getting raked over the coals on taxes!

Of course it would. Its just slightly less painful to them since they aren't relying on labor or ingenuity to be the main feed for the economy. One can only imagine what a small country witha low tax rate and abundance of natural resources could do.

I think I'm ready to resign from the church after thinking about it yesterday. Shit, I should have typed my thoughts about taxes to here already two years ago, so I would have saved already over 1000€ of church tax.
LOL!

Lets hope Nokia keeps doing well then!

I bought one, so you see I do think about you

well actually the government spends 100% of our money, while it's proven that the more money an individual has, the less he spends (relatively) and the government spends it on things as healthcare for every1, dikes that keep us safe from water, military/police, a sort of pension and loads of other useful things... thing is, somewhere somehow things aren't happening the most effective way possible, and our society's changing so they cant hold up the current system forever...

BTW an often used argument is that the government isn't spending money effectively and that the laws of demand and offer that are used by the private sector guarantee more efficient use of money... Well i worked at an insurance company, and from what i heard they spend so sickeningly much money on such BS... ah well i wont let it bother me

You laugh but timber and minerals are large exports in Finland. Not to mention we have more people in a medium size city then all of finland.

The difference is.. People have a choice where the company spends its money. Thats why it is more efficient. If you dont like how it spends its money.. You don't buy the product. Thats why companies in competitive industries are way more efficient then govt. Thats proven statistically, even with the money your company is throwing away it prolly comes nowhere near the 200000 toilet seat the govt bought last year (hypothetical but has happened).

All you need to do is look at the difference in quality between US health care and that of those countries with Free health care. Theres a light years difference in the US favor if you can afford it. Thats the nature of capitalism versus govt.. competition is what improves quality and price.. Without either your much worse off.
