I also would recommend as mojo said put some extra weight into the trunk - I also do this every winter here. This season I have brand new winter tyres but even with the new tires and 4 people in the car just a small gas punsh is needed to get sideways.
I now have my 5th winter with rwd and snow but when we had our first snowfall here last week it also was so funny. I was driving with a friend of mine in a roundabout and she was a bit excited and said "come on freddy pull on the handbrake!! lets drift a bit" I just floored the gas pedal and drove the whole roundabout extremly sideways that she screamed - all I answered was "handbrake? who needs a handbrake?"
I flat-spotted the tires on one of our loaners at work doing E-brake drifting a few weeks ago around an on-ramp after light snow. Luckily the boss didn't care and had me replace the tires.
When I was in the army, we used to drift our bandwagons, little trucks that tilt in the middle and have 4tracks, not tyres. That was some scary shit even if the topspeed was 40mph:ish. Ford V6 screaming and 4tons of glassfibre going sideways, if you overcook it, there was absolutely noway of catching the drift
