I was at his new casino (the Wynn) a week ago. They have a Ferrari dealership inside the casino. They charge you 10 dollars to go inside and see the three Ferraris in the showroom. I declined, so he's out that money too.

It used to be free. I heard they started charging because so many people were going in to look. They used to have a person in front, limiting people in the showroom to about 10 people at a time. One person comes out, one person gets to go in. Paying is lame.

There is also a great exotic car dealership in Ceasar's Palace also:

Is that the way they pay for the cars themselves?

The gift shop in both stores is free. You can see the Ferraris if you look between the pattern in the frosted glass. The gift shop in Ceasars is bigger there are alot more cars in that one. The Ferrari store only has Ferrari stuff.
I some day want to own some kind of a Ferrari, but I will never wear any of that stuff they sell. Maybe I'm just jealous now, but at the Grand Prix of Houston. they had the Ferrari, Porsche and Corvette clubs there with their cars. Only the Ferrari guys showed up with their matching clothes. I thought it looked a little vain.

To get right up next to the cars, I think you have to be a potential buyer. Otherwise, it's free to walk in the store and around the "pit" where the cars are parked.

Not sure, but I dont really blame them for doing it. Vegas gets a LOT of traffic and you can pretty much take liquor wherever you want. If I was a store owner with collections of valuable cars, I wouldnt want just anybody to wander around them drunk. At least by forcing people to pay, you can weed out some of the looky loos from the people that really care about the cars enough to pay to look at them.
