The discussion here is how this Countach looks right now, since none of us here will actually buy one, or at least I know I wouldn't.
All I'm simply saying is that the original LP400 was a pure and beautiful masterpiece, and a timeless design done by an excellent designer (Marcello Gandini).
The later versions just added unnecessary body kits add-on's to satisfy the crowd and style of the '80's which only made the car look fat and ugly.
I'm just a person who love's the pure, clean, and sexy Italian style that the original Lamborghini Countach perfectly showcased, and not some "pussy Lambo hater"

This Countach is a prime example of what NOT to do to a supercar. This body kit looks like any other cheap body kit you would see on those stupid tuner cars that add the ridiculous plastic fake spoiler or a useless ground effect plastic parts, which serve only one purpose, to show how bad your taste of style is!
And this one was done by the company itself, which makes it even worse.

he's a corvette driver, style isn't his thing....just let it go man
r2r is absolutely right...any Lambo PURIST will not like this car....but the boys with posters on their walls who don't know much about Lambos will love this bodykit-fitted mutant.

Uhm - if the "body kit" (which is only an add-on rocker panel) bothers you that much - simply remove it after you buy the car...
You are buying the car - Right??
Oh - and if you "purists" knew anything about anything, you would know the fender flares help house wider wheels.. but I guess it's more stylinsh to remove the flares and have the wheels sticking out the body line...
|
you have no idea what you're talking about do you? again. LOL

bah
i'll take that "Lamborghini" W8 0X

First of all, the only Countach that is original is the first one, the LP400.

Second of all, I really hope your not being serious when you say this ^^^
There are allot of car companies in the world, some of them do allot of nice cars and some of them do allot of ugly cars. But ALL of them sometimes produce an unsuccessful car, or an ugly car.
Just because you love a particular car company, or share a huge passion towards it, does not mean you should love every car they make. Otherwise you wouldn't be loving the cars, you'll be loving just the name. And that diminishes the whole reason to why you would like the company in the first place.

woah this topic is getting heated. I dont know if I dare say this, but I was never a fan of the original coutach, but I actually like the one for sale on ebay. Not that I'd ever think of buying it, even if I did have the money to do so.

^^ Yep - there are some hot under the collar opinionated fan boys out there..
I think not enough people get out to enjoy driving with diverse groups of auto fans and somehow forget we are all in this gig together..
If only all the opinated fanboys realized how many of us actually love ALL hipo cars - and are quite tolerant of even the pedestrian econo box... after all, we are moto-nuts... right?
If they did, they would all live longer happier lives..

Look who's talking. Weren't you RC45 the one who mentioned that we are the "pussy Lambo haters" just because some of us don't like this Countach?
That's completely fine if you like the Countach on eBay or any other Countach for that matter, but calling somebody "Lambo hater" just because they hate the funky and ugly looking kit on that car which in my opinion ruins the original shape is why some people become opinionated.

Wow --maybe you wouldn't be such a fanboy if you weren't hurt by the "Pussy Lambo Hater" comment...
And you know what they say?
Well, besides that there is no replacement for displacement... they also say that "The Truth Hurts"... and in case you though I was joking, there is always "Many a True Word said in jest..."
And it would appear that I am not the only one who likes the "bodykit" Lambos...
Oh - and you are more than welcome to join us for the next JW Houston Fun Run... But now that you have seen the route, don't expect me to wait for you like I did for this run...

Wow, so many deep and intellectual comments, I almost got lost reading them. (J/k)
For your information, I wasn't hurt by the "pussy Lambo Haters" comment coming from a JW user who doesn't know much about me, and just flames about somebody just to prove his point. I was simply justifying my comments to why I don't like this Countach, because of its kit.
And I'm not sure what your referring to when you say "The Truth Hurts", but the only true fact that I see here is that there are some people that like the ugly body kit on beautiful Italian exotic cars, and others prefer the pure and clean Italian exotic car design the way it was meant to be.

And I don't really care if your not the only one who likes this particular body kit Lambo, because you know what they say "where there's one rotten apple, there are many more"

Like I mentioned earlier in the post when I was talking about the earlier version of the Countach, I could live with the LP400S, but only without the wing like you said. However, I would take the LP400 (original) any day over the other ones.
