So there you have it. I look at this game as more of a test bed than a fully realized game. PD wanted to see how well it would be received, and I think it was received well, at least in the Sport Bike Community.

It feels very much like a TT Prologue..
They better be busily porting this to the PS3 and have GT5 and TT2 as launch titles...
I am having great fun with it - sounds like you are too. (tell the truth I never could get into the GP1/2/3 series... )

Because it only took an intern 5 minutes to program the shutter sounds.
Interesting review. Seems like this game would be extremely hard with out the computer aids...

I am fully aware that it took no time to code in the sounds. That is still no excuse, nor is there any reason to have anymore than one sound.
You do have a lot to keep your mind on when in “Pro” mode, but you get used to it after a while. Once you have mastered it though, you have so much more control over the bike.

Like I said in the review, it is really more of a test bed than final product. If PD decides to make a sequel, here's hoping they give it more independent development.

Rental? I don't thinks so...
Just to tease all y'all a little more, I am uploading 2 videos... an exciting event where I was trying to witn the black R6... but didn't.. -- never mind, I got it the next race - but this was a nail biter...
And the next one is where I won my first 750... the yellow Gixxer...
I then took the Gixxer, regeared it and took it to the Nurburgring... ran my first 200mph run... I cannot wait to eventually unlock the Yoshimura Hyabusa..

Thanks for the review Minacious
And thanks, RC, for the screens :good:
The game sounds like a nice sim - not 100% realistic, but i will buy it after my exams, and see how well i can play it.
I'm not too clued up on bikes in general (models etc...), but i have a decent grasp of the physics involved, but i bet that won't keep me off my "virtual ass" the first time i take it for a spin.

Damn right it won't keep you off your virtual ass!
You can't get away with sloppy driving on the bikes, like you can with the cars on GT! If you do go off the track you have to treat the controller like you treat a bike on grass or gravel i.e. very gently, and ease yourself back onto the tarmac.
Remember one of the GT license lessons where it warns you that the track before the first corner of Grand Valley East has a bump in it and it will make the car veer left? Well, that undulation is still there and its a whole lot of fun trying to slow down from 166 mph on the CBR600 (not)
Having said that, don't let it put you off, it is addictive!
It is a shame that there is no clutch control on the bikes, unless I have missed something? I think I have it in standard (i.e. beginner) mode still though ops:

Nice vids, RC. Got a little loose there on the R6 I see, though you recovered nicely.
I had a blast winning that R6 too.
Do you have your rider emulating your body position?
I need to break down and get myself a proper capture card, so I too can get some footage up here. Or cheaper yet - would a flash card be able to hold and transfer replay vids to the PC? I don’t own one, so never tried.
One thing I have found to really hate is the fact that bikes can't be removed from the garage. I have a couple of scooters I want to get rid of, but can't.
