dingo - yeah ppl dont buy it for how it looks defenitelly. I've talkd to some WRX/Evo owners and they agree right up that they look really bad, but the performance for the cost makes up for it.
What I dont understand is how Evos look that bad after mitsubishi had a such good looking car (3000 GT). Subaru, hmm... they can be forgiven as I cant recall any good looking car ever to come out from them.

I always thought they looked good before everyone and their mother owned one...but this reminds me a lot of the Subaru/Saab 92X or whatever it was called, and i think this one looks good since it's kind of outrageous looking.

Disagree big time (of course!), the 22B looked awesome, I saw it in real life at the motorshow, that was THE showstopper there, not any Ferrari or Lambo.
Dingo you agreed!

yeah your right, though they did have one on display at the local Subaru dealer a few months ago but I didn't find out until it was too late

Rexies and Evo's look, a fellow member best described is as looking like a bull terrier, ugly, agressive but it looks good in its own way because it was all functional and there for a reason, that stupid alfa grill what purpose that serve?!
Styling aside I was hoping that they would be daring and make it smaller/lighter, maybe a coupe with 2.5L engine and twin scroll turbo.
Given production methods, technology and materials now compared to 10 years would be better in all respects.
How about make everyone happy and simply mass produce the 22B as the new STi?! I sure as hell would not complain and be lining up to buy one, this one, doesn't make me want to upgrade.
Specs would be nice but I think its same old under the bonnet, since all they really change is to that stupid grill!!!! I hate Alfa Romeo before but now this genic pollution of my beloved beast is sicking.

That's an agressive front but it's a bit ugly :x
This new Subaru design could look much better. The actual Legacy is awesome so they could use the front lights one the new Impreza
I'm sure a lot of people won't like this new model.

You're absolutly right. And not just the front, the rear wing is similar too.
The second model wasn't very successfull. A lot of people didn't liked it. It might hapen the same with this new Subaru design
But I'm not a big fan of Lancer's design, specially the new Evo IX. So, it would be very dificult to chose one of them.

I am kind of mixed between it now, not sure if i like it more then the previous one or not. I think they took a step towards mitsubishi when they designed this car, it looks more agreesive like the EVO. i guess time will tell if i like it or not.

I don't like the front end at all, I prefer the current one.
But.....I probably get use it once I start seeing them on the road. Just hope that this new grill doesn't make it to the legacy, which is fine as it is.
Btw, did they change anything under the hood? More power perhaps??

I prefer the current Impreza. But well... I didn't like the Evo VII when it appeared, and now it's my alltime favourite Lancer! So I suppose it will grow on me...

Good call!
thats something the STi should look like, small 2-door coupe.
Evo 7 is my fav EVO too, such sharp aggresive lines.

I think this is the new front for all Subaru's. Which is too bad because with this new design the next legacy would look worst than the actual one

my sister has a 2002 modded WRX.
she just got a nice turbo on it
i think the 2002 was the best year yet.
i like botht front and end of it. and the engine sound..now thats something else.*drools*
as i shift gears i hear the suction of the intake, and the purr of the engine grows louder and loader as i push it to redline.. ok, ill stop

TO me it all it looks like is a restyled last years model. The back end almost is identical besides new tail lamps and the reworked front lights and funky grill. Looks Ok but its performance is what matters
