the 6000k actually produce more light (lumens) than the 8000k.
maybe your friend with the 8000k didn't have them aimed properly?

Yep, the higher the Kelvins (color temp), the lower the light output (lumens). What was probably happening in this case, the glare is what was blinding him, not the actual light intensity.

yes, i did. But not the bluish ones. The white ones which IMO look great. I jsut need to change the High beem cuz that is a little yellowish

as I said before, 8000's are not good. Get 6000 at most. They will light up little less than the stock 4000 (assuming you got those as stock), but will have a better color
6000k philips ultinons seem to be the best (read into this like 2 hours straight)

We can add on to that >exhaust, engine mods, tint up front, lowering too low, etc.
All illegal for on-road use. We're all crooks.

^^^ you mean h6? Those are for fog lights
HID are the lights that are always on. Best ones are Philips 6000, they just came out!

Not really if the Exhaust has papers saying it is street legal it's all good same with Engine mods if it comes with USDOT and CARB certs it's all good.

you can't get more power to something with a bigger fuse :roll: all you do is increase the chances of burning your car up if the wire shorts out.

maybe, but it is letting more power head to the lights over other parts. I am thinking about getting a better alternator to over the difference.
