I didn't know they had a speedo that went to 200 on skylines i thought it was 180, does the stock gearing actually go to 200mph. It just means to me that Nissan has no intention of the owner keeping it stock cause that gearing would be horrible with stock HP.

Do those engine lights go on because he's over the limiter (dunno if the UK skylines are supposed to be limited to 155) or do they go on because he's about to blow the engine?

And yes, i believe the stock gearing does go upto 200mph

^^ Idd it can theoretically go above 200 mph.

If you do the calculation for 8000 rpm, standard tire size of 245/40-18. And the final drive is 3,545 : 1, and 6th gear has a ratio of 0,793 : 1

This gives a theoretical speed of 351 kph or 219 mph. Of course in reality there is an aerodynamically drag, a rolling resistance, and the car has to have enough power. But this one certainly will have

I don’t know if the standard clocks go up to 200mph, Maybe it are Nismo clocks.
