My D Drive which has the car vids video games MP3's and images on and others, is a 120GB 8mb Cache SATA HDD.

After I reinstalled Windows XP on the C Drive and got all the files back on D Drive, I had 43GB left of space.

But its now at 67GB once I put all the info in needed to get back online, I be downloading again and typing messages on my PC.

So all I have to say is weeeeee!
You had to backup 4gb and from what it seems you are now only left with 43gb?

WTF? 4gb of files and XP which is about 1.2 1.3 adds up to 5gb+ a few more mb's.

Were did the rest of the space go>?

A SATA drive has a default speed of 7200RPM is called SATA150, because your near the 150MB a Sec.

If you have a fast CPU plus its a 8MB Cache and is the best form, of HDD you can buy for a desktop PC.

Also Networks use them and SATA was brought out a year or 2 ago.
