The new A8 is absolutely stunning. Go for the A8 if you're still deciding...
My dad and I both went to see LS430 and the A8 last time...LS430 was 'okay', yet we thought that the A8 was incredible.

Japanese cars...just can't beat the European heritage...

I find it quite amusing all the "Lexus is unreliabel" etc claims...

Audi is the one that has become "bland" over the years.

In this case, I would choose the Lexus. For what the A8 represents and costs, it should be a lot more special appearing and performing than it does. The Lexus is a great around-town luxo car.

And before you all start with the "yanks don't know squat" comments - I have always been a strong VW/Audi fan - and not just because my grand-father wa the chairman of VW/Audi South Africa either...

The A8 no doubt about it, is one of the safest cars in the world, and I think its very classy, it turns heads, the lexus doesnt...

if you are talking the new LS430 is would choose that cus its looks amazing and Audis are the most expensive cars when it comes to maintanence

Get the A8 it´s the best choice man, though the Lexus is a pretty cool car too. Can you get the 4.0 TDI in the States?? If you do, then get that one.

i hate Lexus. when i see one i think of the owner as "someone who obviously had the cash for the merc/bimmer/audi but decided to throw it away" i hate lexus.
