Sweet car!

But I think the spoiler is a bit too big, IMO

Yeah, man, but almost no road car in GB could touch it in a straight line.
Except the couple of modded Vettes that would (and have) handed the Hennessey Vipers their ass on a platter - in a straight line and round the bends...

-- oh and for a lot less than $190,000USD as well..

Good lick on this chap even getting $90,000 for his car - the last few that sold, did so for way under $100,000... WAY, WAY, WAY under $100,000 lol... that's why it's on eBay... even in the Viper community they wouldn't pay that much for it LOL

Well that car looks f*cking quick just standing still, but I agree with the point on the the cost. There is no way i would pay that much for a viper

What's the point... everybody knows that Vipers don't corner very well compared with their European counterparts...
I've seen once a slalom with a Viper GTS, a Ferrari 355 and a Porsche 911 turbo.. and it's amazingly comic..

The Ferrari doesn't even move...
The Porsche body rolls a bit, but keeps the trajectory line...
The Viper seems a bathtub with wheels... and oversteering like a mad!!

And, DanielW... you say that American cars don't corner because they don't need to.. and because Americans like them that way... It's your problem!! I'm just saying that I (and most people) prefer European cars because they corner much better!!

Oh.. and we don't need massive 8 liter engine like the Viper GTS to extract 400 hp or more! And don't need massive fuel consuption to have fast cars!

I think it's an insult to the rest of the world the amount of fuel your cars consume...
Do you know that the USA consume the same amount of fuel in a month that Europe, Japan, China, Russia and North of Africa countries.. all together?

haha you're so stupid that it's amusing.

1. How many American cars have you driven to come to the conclusion that they can't corner.
2. Who cares how many liters the car has. We don't put big engines in regular cars anymore, we save them for the sports cars and SUVs and trucks.
3. No matter how you cut it, a "fast car" is gonna take a lot of fuel, doesn't matter if it's a NA V8 or a turbo I4. Funny how the 400hp Z06 gets better gas mileage than a S2000 or an M3, and I won't even mention any exotics.
4. Do you know how many vehicles americans own as a country?? Do you know how many miles an average american drives to work or school??? This is not Europe where your job is around the corner and you can take your bicycle. My mom commutes 60 miles to work each way, and my dad around 30. There's people who commute even more. Not to mention that Americans love to cruise on the weekends and often take countless trips across the country. So please don't get self righteous, I used to live in Europe and when I left about 1 in 5 people had a car where as here each family has 5. If you haven't lived here don't make stupid comments.

Even with China being the second largest oil consumer in the world? I don't think so.

I like Vipers, but no way in hell would I pay that much for one. Especially one as ugly as that! That spoiler really sucks.

i think the problem herein lies in entrence speed, and following through with exit velocity. a fast car will have to brake hard, and not over-do it on the exit; which requires much more precision then a car that doesnt have to brake as hard, or cant accellerate as hard.

that is why a viper/Z06/360/GT3/WS-6/Mustang would be harder on any twisting road then a Nissan 240 sx...

Im not saying that the american sport cars doesnt handle well, but thats when you look at the more high end american sport cars,as in European or Asian cars you can get great handling even in the lower entry models......
This is because of the roads I`m sure, but you dont need much handling to go on the autobahn either.

Just a side note I had a passanger from Houston riding with me in a primera, and he happend to own a viper, I think his words where something like "when you enter these twists and turns in these speeds, you either know the roads as the inside of your own pocket or your just plain crazy"
This was not one of my fastest trips on that stretch of the road by far, and he where sure he couldnt have keept up in his viper, the primera wasnt race prepped or anything only fitted with 15" alloy wheels........go figure.....

The viper for sale here is that "venomviper" from rf`s viper?
Really?? Then that Viper owner is not a driver... at all.

God, I almost forgot how cheesy those Hennessey's look.

Hennessey is a fraud anyway, I wouldn't touch his cars with a wooden stick...check this example:

What do you want all that power for if the thing can´t even corner properly. And I wouldn´t be surprised if it doesn´t brake properly either.
