400$ shit i would check if it still has manifolds to bad you don't live around her they are selling a 77' pontiac transam for 400 but needs new manifolds. I gurantee this car would smoke his on a dragstrip except for the fact that its a automatic.

hey what would work, i am in Farmville for school right now. what kind of shape is it in. Me and my dad could work on it. by the way is it street legal? or would we have to trailer it back to MD

well, nothing really, i am still looking for a car to use. I was hoping to get one so over my winter break i can fix it and get one running/striped etc. nothing yet.

find a shitty Z car i can help you out with the tech stuff on it. (no charge of course 8) ) with the power to weight ratio of the 240Z (2300lbs, 150HP, 149LB-FT) you won't have much of a problem gaining the upper hand just with a few hours of engine tuning. then you can start adding go-go parts 8)

Which Manifolds does the car need? and for a Dragstrip the Automatic in the equaly tuned car will be better because it is more consistent. (unless it is beat to shit)

Check out information from grassroot motorsports on how they do their 1500 dollar challenege.

Alot of its donations.. but you never know what tips those guys might have.
