You are smart, bro. I've seen the cops chasing a tank on Real TV and they had no way of stopping him. It's just that the guy was supid. He tried to go over a highway divider and got the tank stuck. He has also forgotten to lock the hatch, so the cops got inside and shot him.

i remember that one! he ran over everything

Ford GT lol who would geuss that from my name. vexor, helicopters don't go as fast as your thinking, they can do about 130 - 140mph. They're not Apaches then you would be fucked. plus most police forces around the world have a supercar police car and a very hihg chance of having one in L.A. could anyoone find out what it is. BTW the Italians use Lamborghini police cars to chase peeps down.

I would stop because running from the police is plain dumb
|
LOL at TTs comment, so funny because it is true
IF I was gonna run from the pigs/boys in blue/coppers...
I'd get something that didn't take up alot of space on the roads (a bike would be perfect, but the thread starter said car specifically) and sticks like glue to the tarmac, sort of like an Elise/Exige. Or even something like the scaffolding on wheels , Ariel Atom. Basically small, light & nimble, with excellent brakes. Top end speed isn't too important IMHO.

Choppers may not be fast in a straight line, but they can go 'as the crow flies' so to speak. Which gives it a much greater advantage.
Didn't the Italia polizia get only a single Gallardo ? To commemorate their centennial or similar anniversary?

Even if there are no helicopters it's easy to find cars like ferraris, lambos, etc...I'd take a normal car which was difficult to find among the normal traffic.

Something really fast and inconspicuous: a beefed-up Lotus Omega of about 500hp (it worked in Stockholm ![Wink](images/custom_smilies/wink.gif) ) or a tuned RS2. To the layperson and average cop these cars look like simple roadcars.
Oh yeah, and those cool rotating numberplates James Bond uses. lol
(and oil-hoses, crows' feet, etc)
