The public knew that it was no secret that Ferrari was developing a successor to the F50. However they did not have a name, so they merely assumed the car would be called "F60". Internally at Ferrari the car was known as the "FX" by management since they themselves had not decided upon a name. Just prior to the launch, the original art design model used by the design team was shown at an art exhibit as the "Ferrari F140", alongside a model of what would become the new Maserati Quattroporte. Finally, the car was unveiled to the public as the "Ferrari Enzo Ferrari".

So F60 evolves into FX evolves into F140 evolves into Enzo Ferrari. All the same car with different names along it development time. However the official name is indeed the Enzo Ferrari and not F60.

The fact that Ferrari presented and sold the car as the "Enzo" is not enough for you? The fact that on the car itself thre is not a single "F60" still not enough? What kind of proof do you need?

whats all this BS talk about different names of the Enzo.

Ferrari released a car called the ENZO. Why do we need to waste energy and talk about other invisible cars that we know nothing about. :x

and also for dear "saadie"
i suggest u go to www.ferrari.com , also the picture in your post doesnt even show.

*******this is how the naming system worked for ferrari.
The F40 had the was made to celebrate ferrari's 40th aniversary. then almost 10 years lator came the F50 which celebrated the companie's 50th birthday. Thats why the press assumed the Enzo would be named F60. you see now ?

For some reason ferrari named it the Enzo, but that didn't affect the car itself or its performance. It still turned out to be the ultimate ferrari since the first Ferrari road car.

heres some history about the founder of the company Enzo Ferrari , http://www.theprancinghorse.co.uk/profile_enzo.html

production of the F50 started in 95 and finished in 97. it took 2 years to complete all 350 F50s so Ferrari started building them in 95 - they wanted all of them ready for their anniversary.

****EDIT************************
the picture you chose SADDIE is on a site which does not seem to be working all the time. Try to find the same pictures on another site and post again.
