well that's not going to happen, unless you mean the DSG-style gearbox...it's rumoured to be 1 or more years away

I'm predicting that we'll see the Porsche DSG on the 997 Turbo S... or the Panamera, whatever comes first
Oh, and I agree that the rims are horrid. Simple 5-spoke techart rims will do for me, thanks.

No pics from me but a quick first drive impression.
Acceleration is awesome. 997T is not that much quicker than F430, bute because of the turbos the feeling of acceleration is immense. Small complaint: 1st gear is too short (only goes to 60 kph), but hey, who cares. The car accelerates from 200-300 as most cars froim 100-200 ... Saw 260 on normal roads and 318 on motorway (fortunately, there was no spanish police around). The car oversteers easily enough to be fun, but as steering is not so sharp as on 997 Carrera, it's not as precise work as one would wish. But all in all, a fujn car to drive ... And brakes are awesome (composite ones) ... What else? Its fast. And you know what? It's fast. And it's fast.
And fun.

Thanks dude for you impressions. I can't wait to put my ass in a 997TT dang! A guy I know placed an order for a dark grey one yesterday and I think he will get it in 2007  so it's a long wait, but I already did an indepth with one of his cars, so I know I'll be able to shoot the TT too.. just have to wait a whole fucking year
